HEAVYBIRDS: Ryan Bourque (guitar, vocal) and Lia Mooney
(cello). This Brooklyn based electric duo decided to blend elements of
drone, distortion, poerty, and unique melodies culled from influences in
western and eastern psych rock and punk to create music
that is truthful and experimental.
The debut album "Sounds of the American Underground" from HEAVYBIRDS features earlier acoustic based songs and was
released independently by their own label Burden/Moon Records and can
be purchased on i tunes and amazon.com.
Currently, the duo is performing new material and working on new songs for their
sophmore album to be released this year.
